Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Louisville. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans to promote understanding and compliance.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice to improve patient care outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

 

Full time APRN
Mon-Fri
Outpatient Office, Dialysis and Inpatient rounding 
1 weekend every 4 weeks inpatient rounding (1 free day during the week after weekend)
1-2 holidays per year (bonus pay and extra holiday provided)
1 year experience as APRN
ICU/Critical care experience as an RN
3 weeks PTO
5 days CME  ($1250 CME allowance annually)
