What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with the Corporate Controller to oversee accounting operations and support a high-performing finance team.

  • Lead efforts to improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and ensure accuracy across financial reporting.

  • Manage and develop staff (initially one direct report), aligning team performance with organizational goals. Ability to mentor others and expand team in the future.

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close deliverables.

  • Ensure the timely and accurate issuance of monthly financial statements.

  • Support audit readiness, coordinate the preparation of audit schedules, and assist with audit fieldwork.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes and adopt financial tools and systems.

  • Review existing accounting procedures and make recommendations for enhancements.

  • Contribute to special projects, process improvements, and high-visibility initiatives that support long-term success.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days onsite each week.

What You’ll Bring:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA required.

  • 4+ years of relevant accounting experience

  • Strong background in cost accounting and financial operations

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal

  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate others

  • Ability to drive process improvements and manage change

  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments with competing priorities

  • Collaborative and adaptable with a focus on delivering results

  • Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in accounting

  • Willingness to take initiative and tackle a variety of responsibilities
