We are searching for a talented Medical Science Liaison to join our client’s dynamic team supporting cutting-edge products and therapeutic areas. You’ll exchange clinical-scientific knowledge with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), researchers, and decision-makers across the western US region. This field-based position demands a professional with established personal and scientific credibility to interact with thought leaders and academic centers of excellence. Reporting directly to the Director of US Medical Affairs, the Medical Science Liaison will play a crucial role in driving operations and initiatives in alignment with our corporate vision.

This is a field-based role with the ideal candidate located in Phoenix, AZ.

Requirements of the Medical Science Liaison:

  • Advanced degree in a scientific field.
  • 4+ years of clinical, scientific research, or pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a field-based position.
  • Comfortable with 60% travel.

Key Responsibilities of Medical Science Liaison:

  • Engage in high-level scientific exchange with KOLs to identify insights and clinical opportunities in key disease areas.
  • Develop and manage ongoing relationships with KOLs to support company objectives and enhance our reputation as a scientific industry leader.
  • Collaborate with KOLs to support clinical programs, including identifying opportunities for data generation and communication.
  • Acquire and maintain scientific knowledge related to our products and share up-to-date medical-scientific data while ensuring compliance.
  • Deliver educational programs to internal and external audiences with clarity and accuracy.
  • Serve as a medical content expert and document medical inquiries/insights from HCPs.
  • Attend scientific and medical meetings to stay updated on advancements in the field.
  • Assist in the scientific training of internal employees.
