Kinsa Group is recruiting for a: Utility/Refrigeration Superintendent – Night Shift
(Typical hours are 4pm- 2:30am EST)

Our client is a leading international food processor with an opportunity for a Utility/Refrigeration Superintendent to join their night shift team.  As the Utility/Refrigeration Superintendent, you will assist in the maintenance of the plant’s electrical, refrigeration, air and water utilities. You will report to the Utility Manager and will have 15 exempt reports.
Compensation/Benefits:

  • Base salary based on experience with bonus potential, $80k – 90k annually plus bonus

Responsibilities:

  • You will direct and conduct the maintenance, repair and improvement of the refrigeration and electrical systems and equipment, cost control and vendor relations
  • Monitor and ensure area metrics are met
  • Ensure the safety of people, property, premises and regulatory compliance by supervising the programs

Competencies Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Maintenance field preferred
  • Poultry experience highly desirable
  • Technical degree in Electrical or Refrigeration desired
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated utility management experience in manufacturing environment
  • Must have experience managing a shift or operations with progression in size and scope
  • Familiar with HACCP and USDA regulations and guidelines
  • Experience using financial analysis services such as Agristats
