Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Urologist to join our team in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The successful candidate will work in our private practice, providing exceptional care and service to our community. Robotics are available and the practice is open to welcoming new graduates.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and treat diseases of the urinary tract and male reproductive system
• Perform surgical procedures such as vasectomies, prostate removals, and kidney transplants
• Conduct physical examinations and order laboratory tests
• Prescribe medications and treatments
• Educate patients on treatment plans and answer any questions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Participate in research and other relevant projects
• Perform shared call coverage
Qualifications:
• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Board certification or eligible in Urology
• Valid medical license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of medical software and electronic health records
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Commitment to providing quality patient care
Experience and Skills:
• Prior experience in Urology preferred
• Knowledge of robotic surgery techniques
• Ability to perform complex procedures
• Thorough understanding of medical standards and guidelines
• Proficiency in use of medical equipment
