Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and passionate Urologist to join our team in Corsicana, Texas. The successful candidate will provide patient care, evaluate patient needs and diagnose medical issues related to the Urologic specialty.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

• Provide patient care and evaluate patient needs

• Diagnose and treat Urologic conditions

• Perform routine follow-ups

• Interpret laboratory results and other diagnostic tests

• Educate and counsel patients

• Prescribe medications and treatments

• Maintain patient records

• Be available for on-call coverage 10 days a month

 

Qualifications:

 

• MD degree from an accredited university

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology

• Licensed to practice medicine in Texas

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work with a team

• Knowledge of current medical techniques, procedures and standards

 

Experience and Skills:

 

• Robotics experience preferred but not required

• 2+ years of experience preferred but not required

• Experience with Electronic Health Records

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

• Strong patient service orientation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
