Tooling Engineering (Plastic Injection Molding exp)
Lead new model and mass production tooling activities to ensure that Customer and internal requirements are achieved.
Lead teams in supporting the maintenance, repair, and improvement of mass production tooling, including injection and die cast molds.
Set specifications, purchase, and project manage new tool builds utilizing domestic and international tooling sources.
Lead teams in tuning, engineering changes, and mass production readiness of new model tooling.
Support engineering changes to mass-production tooling.
Support customer meetings and communication for tooling related issues.
Associates degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Knowledge of injection molding tooling design and construction, repair and modification.
Knowledge of injection molding processes.
Ability to lead teams of associates in technical activities.
Must be able to work extended or irregular hours on occasion.
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally to tooling sources and customer meetings.
