Thermal Spray Operator

Our Vision statement is to Enhance Lives. We believe this means that we want everyone to be better because of their experience. This starts with our employees. We even have our family weekend planned for June 3^rd this year – we have rented out a campground and we are going to camp, fish, eat, and play games all weekend long with our families. A couple other things we do to help families, is we cover 100% of the employee’s health insurance costs. We offer paid vacation after 90 days, and we give a full week of holiday pay for Christmas. We love our employees deeply.

High Expectations, this one sets us apart from most companies. We hold each other accountable for the things that we are responsible for and that we have committed to doing. We work hard. But we also have a quarterly profit-sharing program, so that when we work hard and win – we all win. Last year we were able to pay a bonus every quarter.

 Our 3^rd core value of Gratitude means that we are entitled to nothing and need to be grateful for everything. We also say grateful people are happy and ungrateful people are poopy heads. We don’t want poopy heads on the team, you know what I mean? 😊

Experience & Skill Preferred:

·       5-10 Years of experience preferred.

·       Learn the thermal spray systems: HVOF, ARC, HVAF, Flame, & Plasma. Understand grit blast.

·       HVOF Spray Experience

·       ARC Spray Experience

·       Plasma Spray Experience

·       Blasting and Masking experience

·       Be able to program a robot for spray.

·       Read prints and follow work order travelers. Execute the job in the time allowed on the traveler – or provide feedback on the issues.

·       Perform quantity checks on orders leaving the department to ensure that all orders meet specifications.

·       Light preventative maintenance on the machines that they use. 

·       Maintain a clean, orderly work area – includes taking out the trash and cleaning the toilet after yourself. 

Work Environment 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to standard manufacturing shop environmental conditions. Eye protection is required in shop areas. The noise level in the shop can be loud, and ear protection is to be used where required. Other personal protective equipment may be required as appropriate.

Physical Demands

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: sit, handle, feel and control items or equipment, talk, hear, see, and be able to read, write, and interpret written documents.  Specific vision abilities required include close vision, which is regularly required to view computer screen. Occasionally may need to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.   

We do require a pre-employment drug screen to be completed and passed prior to starting and to be willing to be placed in a random pool during your employment.
