Our client is an international manufacturer of very complex specialty equipment, based in Adrian MI. They have an immediate need for a purchasing or manufacturing professional who, preferably, has a strong background purchasing mechanical components such as machined parts, castings, etc. They will even consider someone who has limited purchasing background, but is strong technically in either engineering or manufacturing of machined or other fabricated metal products, and wants to build a career in purchasing/supply chain. This person will be tasked with negotiating pricing with suppliers, finding new suppliers, and so they should have strong background or interest in commercial negotiations.
