Project Superintendents are responsible for managing and coordinating all field activities while continually maintaining a safe and secure job site. Our Superintendents work begins in the pre-construction phase, providing experience and expertise to the design evolution and carries through the entire project, ensuring deadlines are met and expectations exceeded. Superintendents are expected to have superior communication skills as well as an impeccable attention to detail.
- Responsible for the administration of the Project Safety Program
- Ensure project permits are in place and regularly monitored for compliance with documentation.
- Ensure company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to.
- Maintain continuous knowledge of contract specifications, documents and scope of work, including subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Responsible for oversight and management of administrative functions, reporting and technical/engineering functions
- Responsible for subcontractor scheduling to coordinate with daily work schedules
- Work experience in management of construction projects within the education, municipal, office or retail markets.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent in the construction industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Building Connected, Bluebeam, OSHA standards, dust control, and quality control.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, communication and analytical skills are necessities
