JOB DESCRIPTION Provide systems engineering support for the design, development, integration, test, and verification of highly complex electro-mechanical systems

Interface with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to generate component and subsystem specifications

Define hardware and software interfaces between subsystems

Develop, test, analyze, and document turret fire control algorithms

Build linear and nonlinear dynamic models and simulations to evaluate system performance

Provide technical leadership and guidance for development teams

Support lab and field testing

Generate technical documentation (plans, reports)

Occasional travel required

BS with an emphasis in Control Systems and Signal Processing

1 to 5 years of industry experience; 5 to 10 years preferred

Classical and modern control systems design knowledge

Signal processing and data analysis knowledge

Hands-on experience working with the hardware and software aspects of electro-mechanical systems

MATLAB/Simulink knowledge

Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
