Senior Research Associate, In Vivo Surgery

My pharma client is expanding and seeks a Senior Research Associate, In Vivo Surgery to take on the following tasks:

• Conduct rodent surgeries, including stereotaxic.
• Contribute to preclinical research of pain and other relevant diseases.
• Develop and improve tissue collection and surgery procedures.
• Perform preliminary experimental data analyses and create draft study reports.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

• BS/MS degree and 5+ years laboratory experience working with rats or mice.
• 2+ years of rodent dosing, tissue collection, and surgery experience.
• Compliance with SOPs and IACUC, safety, and quality assurance protocols.
• MS Office and statistical software experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with organizational and troubleshooting skills.
