Senior Research Associate – CRISPR

We are currently searching for a Sr. Research Associate – CRISPR with strong experience maintaining cell lines and primary cell cultures for a start up company in South San Francisco. CRISPR experience a huge plus. Our client is developing the next generation of genomic medicines.

Requirements of the Senior Research Associate – CRISPR

• BS/MS in molecular biology or related field
• Significant experience maintaining cell lines and primary cultures
• Experience with some if not all of the following:
  • DNA/RNA extraction and purification
  • Lentivirus packaging and transduction
  • Molecular Cloning
  • PCR/RT-PCR
  • CRISPR screening and gene editing
  • NGS technologies and workflows
  • Automation handling

• Develop CRISPR libraries and DNA constructs
• Construct high throughput screening platforms for a portfolio of cell therapy applications
• Develop, optimize, implement multiplexing readouts for cell therapy application and maintain familiarity with relevant current literature
• Work collaboratively across the broader scientific team
