About Lexington, Kentucky:
Lexington is a city of about 400,000 people and is an hour drive from both Louisville and Cincinnati. Home to one of the premier universities in the United States (University of Kentucky) and home to one of America’s oldest pastimes, Bourbon, Lexington is the perfect balance of four seasons and the more laid back pace of the South. It has a little something for everyone – it’s the “Horse Capital of the World”, it has a rich history (home of Mary Todd Lincoln, lots of ‘old’ money), etc. Cost-of-living wise it is an affordable area with about average cost-of-living for the United States.
