Senior Integration Manager, Oracle SME

We are seeking a business-minded Oracle platform subject matter expert (SME) to oversee the development, commissioning, and optimization of mission-critical IT initiatives across a heavily customized corporate environment. As the Senior Integration Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison with the Executive Leadership Team to develop customed Oracle dashboards, cloud-based applications, and mobile device apps to serve specific business unit needs. You will own end-to-end project scope development with application owners, then oversee software development and project lifecycle deliverables. Our client is a rapidly growing privately held construction and environmental services contractor that has been deeply rooted in water utilities and water distribution throughout the US for over 65 years. This role has a hybrid work schedule that may require occasional travel to other company locations.

Responsibilities include:

• Serve as the primary internal IT liaison to core business unit leaders, understanding objectives and identifying technology solutions to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Sales/Marketing, Legal, and HR business unit leaders to align IT strategies with long-term operational goals.
• Lead end-to-end customized Oracle application projects, managing scope, execution, risks, and delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements to meet evolving business needs.
• Facilitate clear communication between IT, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide regular project updates to Executive Leadership Team, reporting on status, risks, and key performance metrics.
• Assist in IT budget planning and resource management, optimizing project spending and financial reporting.

Qualifications include:

• BS/BA in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or a related technology field required.
• 10+ years of experience in IT project management, business-IT relationship management, or client service management.
• Oracle ERP subject matter expertise (SME) is essential.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple IT projects and aligning technology solutions with business needs, including efficient management of project documentation.
• Strong knowledge of business processes with ability to develop related technical solutions.
• Expertise in IT service management frameworks such as PMP and ITIL, as well as Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Functional expertise with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Sales Cloud, Oracle Financials, CPQ, web services (SOAP/REST), APIs, and other enterprise applications.
• Technical proficiency in Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, XML, PL/SQL, APEX, and web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation in project execution.
• Ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders and influence business leaders.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Excel, and MS Office Suite.
• Hands-on experience with configurations, design, and development of solutions.
• In-depth understanding of IT audits, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and security best practices.
• Adaptability to emerging technologies such as SOA, Cloud, and mobile applications.
