The SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER will make major design recommendations and mentor junior staff. 
 
Senior Electrical Engineer – Healthcare or Higher Education facility design projects
Minneapolis, MN or Rochester, MN 
$90K – $130K

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Makes major electrical design recommendations and design decisions with little input from senior staff for healthcare or higher education facility design projects

  • Plans design work by discipline for all project sizes and assigns duties to staff working on projects

  • Reviews correspondence prepared by junior staff

  • Actively participates in quality control of projects

  • Acts as an advisor and analyzes technical problems/writes reports

  •  

    Plays a significant role in project reviews for quality control for large complex projects

  • Identifies prospective clients, assists in marketing to develop new clients, and prepares proposals for services
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Profession Engineer (PE) (preferred)
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a consulting firm primarily doing healthcare or educational projects
