Job Description/Responsibility:

This position reports directly to the firm’s leadership and resides on the senior executive team, and as such, ideal candidates must be comfortable working fairly autonomously.  This is a sales leadership role that will be responsible for overlooking healthcare Research & Analytics service revenues for targeted accounts. The primary responsibility is to create new business revenues and grow strategic accounts.
This role requires proactive business development, client interactions and account management efforts.

Business Development

         Identify potential leads independently

         Develop relationships with potential buyers

         Identify, develop, present and close specific healthcare research and analysis opportunities within target companies

         Able to actively engage with business executives to articulate the attributes of our healthcare solutions

         Lead the proposal development process

         Lead commercial and contractual negotiations

         Regularly communicate target account status

Opportunity Management

         Organize BID review and apply rigorous deal qualification criteria before moving the deal to proposal writing stage

         Maintain an accurate and documented pipeline

         Continuously gather knowledge of competitors

Team Collaboration

         Coordinate all sales efforts with sales support and delivery teams

         Lead/participate in special projects as required

         Leads the team in engaging and influencing our most strategic and complex customers

Qualifications:

·         Experience in and deep understanding of Life Sciences / Pharma / medical device is required
·         Strong healthcare research and analytics knowledge is necessary to effectively engage in discussions with all levels of target organization
·         Experience in selling profitable and large-scale projects, with a proven track record in consistently meeting/exceeding multi-million-dollar sales targets
·         Effective listening skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
·         Excellent communication / presentation / negotiating / closing skills with customers and prospects.
·         Effective at growing executive relationships with existing and potential customers.

Essential:

·         Extensive knowledge of US market, Particularly East Coast.
