Sales Engineer
  • An engineering degree and one year of solid sales experience at a Manufacturing company as a Sales Engineer is required to be considered
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% domestically
  • Pay $60,000 to $100,000
  • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder

This full time, permanent Sales Engineer opening is at stable, financially strong, growing, niche manufacturing company. Employees are treated so well that it is rare that any employee leaves for reasons other than retirement. The company cares about the careers of its employees as it promotes from within whenever possible. The company is located in modern facilities that were built in 2018. Almost all products are completely manufactured domestically. The company employs just under 100 employees so employees have value and get to be involved in a variety of work that would not be possible at larger employers. It is a great environment to learn and grow a career. They are working on a new product line so there is the opportunity to be involved and gain that experience.
This is a new position due to growth and they want the successful candidate to grow with the company. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:
  • Maximizing sales revenue and sales margins
  • Growing sales with new and existing customers
  • Evaluating sales opportunities
  • Developing new business
  • Performing sales research
  • Evaluating new products, the marketplace and competition
  • Negotiating
  • Starting and maintaining customer relationships
  • Resolving customer issues
  • Participating in enhancing and developing the product line
  • Travelling domestically up to 50% in the future
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
  • An engineering degree
  • One or more years of solid sales experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Possess the ability to travel up to 50% domestically
  • A solid work history
  • A US citizen or possess a green card
  • A residence within 45 minutes
