This full time, permanent Sales Engineer opening is at stable, financially strong, growing, niche manufacturing company. Employees are treated so well that it is rare that any employee leaves for reasons other than retirement. Almost all products are completely manufactured domestically. This is a new position due to growth and they want the successful candidate to grow with the company. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:
Maximizing sales revenue and sales margins
Growing sales with new and existing customers
Evaluating sales opportunities
Developing new business
Performing sales research
Evaluating new products, the marketplace and competition
Negotiating
Starting and maintaining customer relationships
Resolving customer issues
Participating in enhancing and developing the product line
Travelling domestically up to 50% in the future
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
An engineering degree
One or more years of solid sales experience in a manufacturing environment
Possess the ability to travel up to 50% domestically
