Must have at least 5+ years of plant safety experience within a chemical related industry. Bachelor of Science degree required ideally within safety, occupational health, environmental or related technical degree.
*Ability to develop and implement a strategic vision for safety performance and safety culture excellence. Lead and supervise the occupational safety department, emergency response team and facility security (setting and measuring objectives, managing, developing key staff and ensuring effective communications). The position will report to the Senior EHS Manager.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required, demonstrated leadership capabilities including employee development and engagement along with strong change management skills.
