Description

Working under the supervision of the Surgery Manager, the RN Specialty Coordinator is a professional Registered Nurse with demonstrated leadership and administrative competence in the operating room, responsible for the coordination of a surgery specialty service-line. The individual in this position represents Health Center and the Surgical Services Department by interpreting and applying policies and nursing practice guidelines, planning and coordinating day to day unit operations and assuming accountability for utilization of human and material resources by managing those resources within established budgetary guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
• Upon hire: CNOR certification
• 1 year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
