We are searching for a Research Scientist – Computer Vision and Deep Learning to join a very exciting biotech company revolutionizing histopathology. The Research Scientist will be responsible for the development and deployment of computer vision algorithms on the digital assay development team. Please note, this person is expected to work in office 4 days a week near Culver City in Los Angeles.
Requirements of the Research Scientist- Computer Vision and Deep Learning:
PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, biomedical informatics or relevant field.
Demonstrated success developing, designing and deploying computer vision methods and deep learning
Minimum 4 years experience with GANs, Pix2Pix, Vision Transformers, Diffusion Models, etc
Experience with biomedical imaging, medical imaging, or digital assay development
Track record of research publications in conferences and leading journals
Responsibilities of the Research Scientist- Computer Vision and Deep Learning:
Research, design and implement cutting-edge computer vision and deep learning methods for digital assay development
Collaborate cross functionally and communicate effectively with internal and external researchers and shareholders
Mentor interns and attend/present at conferences
