Position: Reliability Engineer
SCOPE: The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for finding repeat failures, eliminating the issues from the root cause, and optimizing maintenance strategies/programs by incorporating predictive technologies (Vibration, Infrared, MCA, Ultrasound, etc.). This position will partner with the Electrical and Mechanical technician, maintenance teams, and production operations to deliver business results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership, expertise, and direction in the implementation of Maintenance Reliability strategies
- Provide technical expertise and support to ensure that Preventative / Predictive Programs and Maintenance Planning Processes are executed to meet current and long-term objectives.
- Responsible for providing leadership, direction, and assistance in conducting analysis of system maintainability and reliability studies of equipment; developing and utilizing appropriate surveillance and feedback systems to generate and evaluate data.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis of systems and subsystems within a manufacturing environment.
- Identify Operational delays and lead activities for problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
- Leads in vibration, infrared, and other predictive analyses and interpretation of results.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technical related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of maintenance/reliability in an industrial or heavy equipment manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills – data analysis, schedule and planning
