We are looking for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System Administrator to support the R&D/Operations portion of a PLM implementation and manage ongoing operation. This position is responsible for managing our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, a platform that facilitates and tracks product development from concept through production. This position supports all PLM users, conducts ongoing training, and helps facilitate PLM tasks across functional departments.  The position will be the point person between R&D/Operations and the other key system stakeholders (ERP and MES) to ensure proper integration.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • System admin for the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems to including Ingredient Management, Packaging Management, Formula Management, Finished Product Management, Regulatory Management and New Product Development. 
  • Support the PLM implementation team that consists of internal business teams from RD, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain operations, the IT team, and external consultants.
  • Perform root cause analysis debugging problems with the PLM environment and then work with the appropriate technical teams to develop, test, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.

·         Supports PLM users (current and new) with training, troubleshooting, enhancements, and developing user guides.

  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert (SME) for PLM including Configuration Management, Product Quality Management, Requirements Management, Design Management, Product Compliance and Product Portfolio Management.
  • Support the technical design and development of the integration between PLM solutions and boundary systems.
  • Responsible for identifying and designing reports and analytics.
  • Documents necessary field information (drop down, free form, type info needed, field restrictions).

FOOD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

Job will require maintain accurate Product Data Management (PDM)- including Food Safety data – for the organization.

Education and/or Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline is required; 3-5 years’ work experience in delivering PLM and related solutions; Experience in a CPG manufacturing industry; Experience with identifying and implementing process improvements; Strong data management and analytical skills.  Experience/familiarity with MS PowerBI or similar BI analytical tools a plus; Experience with supply chain management (SCM), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and product life cycle management (PLM).
