QA Manager/Chemist

Location: Dallas, TX area

Description:

This opportunity is with a high-purity specialty chemical manufacturer located near Dallas, TX. This is an on-site role at a 50+ person facility. This role will focus on Quality Assurance and Quality Control while supervising 2 quality control technicians. You’ll be responsible for maintaining quality control systems, ensuring the facility is compliant with audits and regulations (ISO, NSF, customer), testing procedures, and continually improve overall processes. The facility has performed well in their audits and would like to maintain their high integrity and continue to drive quality initiatives. You will be involved with some corrective actions and collaborate with other teams for any investigations needed. 

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering out of chemicals, foods, or consumer products
• 5+ years experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control role
  • ISO 9000 or ISO 9001 is required
• Some supervision or leadership experience preferred 
• Experience with ASH testing, Mesh Screens (particles size), Titrations, & Color would be a plus
