Job Title: Pulmonologist/Pulmonary Disease Specialist

Job Summary: Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonologist/Pulmonary Disease Specialist to join a large and very busy multi-specialty group in Tucson, Arizona. The role offers a full-time hospital employed opportunity, with both inpatient and outpatient settings. The successful candidate will be expected to provide outreach and marketing support to help build their practice and should have a high patient volume. Office space and ICU experience are available, and new grads are welcome to apply.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care and clinical management for pulmonary diseases.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, analyze test data, and suggest treatments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and other documentation.
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare providers on best practices and preventive care.
• Work collaboratively with other medical staff to provide comprehensive care.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Assess and manage acute and chronic pulmonary conditions.
• Communicate with other health care providers to provide patient care.
• Analyze and interpret X-rays, CT scans, and other medical imaging.
Qualifications:
• Board-certified/board-eligible Pulmonologist/Pulmonary Disease Specialist.
• Ability to diagnose and treat pulmonary diseases.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical practice and management of pulmonary diseases.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other medical staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience and Skills:
• Previous experience in a hospital setting.
• ICU experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
• Clinical research experience.
• Ability to use medical equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
