Job Title: Pulmonary/Critical Care Intensivist

 

Location: Lufkin, TX

Job Summary: We are looking for a Pulmonary/Critical Care Intensivist who is an experienced subject matter expert to join our team in Lufkin, TX. The successful candidate will provide care to inpatients and outpatients, as well as telemedicine coverage with the exception of performing bronchoscopies. The physician will join three other Pulmonologist/Critical Care Physicians and have access to office space.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

– Diagnose and treat pulmonary and critical care diseases

– Provide 24/7 anesthesia coverage, when needed

– Maintain medical records and document all treatment

– Participate in patient education and support

– Work collaboratively with the medical staff

– Monitor patient health and progress

– Adhere to all relevant regulations and laws

 

Qualifications:

 

– Board certified/eligible in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine (PCC)

– Licensed in the state of Texas

– New graduates and experienced physicians are welcome to apply

– Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Proficiency with computers and medical software

 

Experience and Skills:

 

– In-depth knowledge of Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine

– Understanding of healthcare laws and regulations

– Ability to work with diverse populations

– Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
