Job Overview: The Commercial HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager is pivotal to the successful completion of our large-scale commercial projects, ranging from $5 million to over $15 million. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise, dedication, and hands-on experience, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Oversee and manage HVAC and plumbing projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progression.
- Review and approve project plans, designs, and installations.
Budgeting & Cost Management:
- Prepare detailed budgets and financial projections.
- Monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
Estimation & Scheduling:
- Use estimating software to accurately project costs and resources.
- Utilize scheduling software to develop, monitor, and adjust project timelines as necessary.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Lead and coordinate project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure project goals, timelines, and standards are met.
- Ensure all HVAC and plumbing installations and systems adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and client specifications.
- Regularly review and inspect work to ensure quality benchmarks are met or exceeded.
- Must be a local resident of Virginia Beach, VA or willing to relocate.
- Demonstrable stable work history.
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC and plumbing project management experience.
- Familiarity with leading estimating and scheduling software.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects in the range of $5-15 million+.
