Job Title: Project Manager – General Contracting Construction Company

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our general contracting construction company. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.  Managing projects in commercial and industrial construction.  

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and quality control.

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets and communicate them to team members, subcontractors, and clients.

• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure that project deliverables meet their needs.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, as well as local building codes and other legal requirements.

• Coordinate the activities of all project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other team members.

• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and take corrective action as needed to keep the project on track.

• Ensure that project documentation is complete and accurate, including plans, specifications, contracts, change orders, and other project records.

• Manage project financials, including tracking costs, billing, and invoicing, and ensure that projects are completed within budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in construction project management.

• Experience with project management software such as Procore, Plan

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Experience with construction project management software.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures.

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
