Project / General Manager

My client is a leader in Ground Transportation Technology, Software and Services. They are currently in need of a General Manager/Project Manager for a very successful instillation in the Phoenix market.

General/Project Manager will be located in Phoenix, AZ, and will receive supervision and direction from both corporate and local Phoenix management. The General/Project Manager will be responsible for providing day-to-day program management in the areas of customer service and support, provider management and support, and in the submission of data and reports requested by the companies’ clients. Specific duties of the Project / General Manager include, but are not limited to the following:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the Contractor’s day-to-day performance on this project, oversee all staff, subcontractors and suppliers assigned to this contract.
• Will evaluate contractors’ performance and take necessary steps to ensure that all contractors are fulfilling expectations.
• Be available to attend meetings with staff, member agencies and other individuals and organizations as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At a minimum, the Project Manager must possess at least ten (10) years of experience within the paratransit or public transit arena.
• At least five (5) years of experience managing an ADA paratransit and/or demand response system of similar size and scope to this project.
• In addition, the Project Manager must be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the ADA and ADA paratransit requirements, demand response transit service experience, paratransit operational issues and procedures, paratransit management technology.
• Previous use of Trapeze scheduling and brokering software.
• Have a commitment to exceptional customer service, and a passion for safety.

COMPENSATION:

• Base Salary Commensurate with Experience (Target Range is $130K to $150K but willing to talk to a very qualified candidate with exceptional experience)
