The Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager and Superintended in providing technical engineering information, monitoring project budget and perform tasks related to the collection of cost data for Transportation, Building and Heavy Civil Roadway/Highway Construction Projects.
Medium to Large heavy civil, roadway, bridge project experience ($30M+)
Evaluates daily production, schedule and budget projections to accurately track project performance.
Provides technical input for project work plan and scheduling.
Identifying risk elements of production, materials, equipment or process that could negatively impact the budget or schedule.
Assist with all schedule preparations and updates.
Plan and oversee the project to ensure a timely and cost effective outcome.
Project Financial Responsibilities, Preconstruction Services
Planning and daily execution of the construction project. Responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule,
Planning, developing, coordinating and managing onsite construction engineering activities for construction projects
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and workforce to resolve project challenges and conflicts
Review Heavy Job daily reports for accuracy
Prepare and maintain technical submittal list
Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)
Ensure that goals and objectives of project are accomplished within budget parameters
