Program Manager – Biotech

We are searching for a Program Manager for a rapidly growing biopharmaceutical company developing exciting new drug therapies. The Director of Program Management will support the cross-functional drug development and commercialization activities of pipeline or inline products and be instrumental in driving that development.

Requirements for the Senior Program Manager:

• Bachelor degree in a scientific, medical or business discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
• 2+ years of Project – Program Management experience
• Experience with product launch and commercialization
• Proven management, leadership experience in an R&D, regulatory, manufacturing operations or commercial context in a biotech / bio-pharmaceutical environment
• Experience with drug development in oncology, neurology, gene therapy, or rare disease
• A track record of accomplishment as a steady influencer working effectively within a matrix environment
• Strong project management skills, PMP certification preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus but not required
• Experience with project management tools, methodologies, practices, and infrastructure, as related to the biopharmaceutical Industry
• Entrepreneurial mindset; self-starter with a proven track record of success in fast-paced and demanding environment and strong desire to “make things happen”, including a results-oriented work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude Team player with the highest of personal values and ethical standards

Responsibilities of the Program Manager:

• Partner with functional leads to develop high quality, integrated plans aligned with the overall program strategy; Visualize timelines in succinct and impactful ways to support communication, scenario planning, and decision- making
• Act as an integrator within functional teams and highlight interdependencies and downstream impacts of strategic decisions
• Ensures cross-functional alignment and accountability
• Support vendor management and vendor activities in support of achieving program timeline milestones
• Drive the development and timely completion of annual goals and input to the
• global product strategy
• Facilitate resource planning, financial, and capacity assessments as needed
• Conduct the risk management and scenario planning and develops contingency and/or risk mitigation plans in collaboration with team members
• Coordinates activities with external business partners and alliances, where applicable; contributes to a successful partnership outcome
