The Production Scheduler works closely with Customer to obtain most up to date production info/data to support good analysis detail (graphs, etc) and production planning activity. The position will monitor overall scheduling to ensure maximum efficiencies are met in meeting customer needs.
- Monitor/Report plan verses actual production results.
- Take necessary action should adjustments be needed.
- Monitor overall Customer shipment tracking.
- Ensure strong communication with Customers.
- Ensure periodic inventory confirmations.
- Support prompt troubleshooting of any discrepancies.
- Ensure daily production overtime recommendation is provided.
- Monitor WIP/FG space for any concerns (example: Seat ASRS, Frame racks, etc)
- Ensure production scheduling operation standards, forms, etc are maintained.
- Complete Performance requirements with Coordinator and/or Administrators as needed.
- Ensure necessary PC Scheduling activity completed regarding NM to Mass Production startups.
- Support Section Manager with Production Control Budgets.
- Complete monthly Business Plan drafts.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- 3+ years prior relevant experience in manufacturing industry.
- Emphasis on EDI & ERP system Production Scheduling/Troubleshooting.
