Tier 1 automotive supplier in the greater Nashville area has immediate opening for a Production Manager to lead Assembly operations. Will oversee Production Supervisors across three shifts, with responsibility for over 300 employees. There will be a strong focus on Supervisor development / training. This Production Manager role will require a lot of time on the production floor interacting with employees, problem solving production issues, and helping launch new products.
Qualified candidates MUST HAVE a BS degree along with at 10 years manufacturing experience in the automotive industry. Knowledge of JIT, Lean Manufacturing, and new product launch is a plus. Experience using problem solving tools like 8D and 5WHy is also helpful.
This position reports to the Plant Manager. There is long term career growth potential. Excellent plant environment.
