Product Strategy Manager – Electronic Components
This position is with a global leader, and supplier of electronics, components and subassemblies.
Working closely with the Director of Product Strategy, this person will help to grow existing product lines and help build strategy for growth into new products and markets. You will research new technologies, product lines and categories of products that fit the business model and address growth markets. You will also work closely with suppliers willing to private label, submitting RFPs and RFQs, and negotiate private label agreements.
This is a new position based solely on growth and you will be noticed!
What we need:
For this role we are looking for an Engineering degree (MBA preferred) and broad experience with the electronics components industry, sold in a multitude of markets and applications.
Established relations with key players in strategic growth markets.
Strong technical expertise and in-depth understanding of the electronic components industry landscape, dynamics, value chain, pricing structures, technology and product trends related to the product line.
Documented success with the development and execution of new product strategies and roadmaps with proven ability to create and present complex business cases to internal and external stakeholders.
History of commercial success with existing business and new product introduction.
Experience in private labelling, RFQ and RFPs as well as negotiation of supplier agreements.
