The process manager’s primary responsibilities are in the areas of production, customer service, and quality, while maintaining compliance with all organizational policies and procedures. The role of a process manager is to be responsible for the monitoring and improvement of manufacturing and engineering processes of the injection mold machine. Injection molding process managers oversee all aspects of an injection molding process, including the set-up, operation, and repair of injection molding tools, equipment, and materials. The main duties are to prepare and produce injection-molded components to specification and ensure their quality. Issues discovered in the production process or products that don’t meet specific standards, should be resolved in this capacity. If they persist, they must be communicated to engineers and QA technicians
 
 
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma, required. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Plastics Engineering, preferred. Knowledge of scientific molding principles, preferred.

Experience: Five years hands-on experience in Injection Molding, Mold/Machine Set-Up, Process Development & Troubleshooting. Minimum 2-3 years experience in a supervisory position and/or substantiated progression in leadership roles. The incumbent must have well-developed organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills in interacting with management, line level staff, suppliers, and customers. Proficient with window based personal computers and related software.

 
Knowledge / Skills: ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 or similar QMS systems; SPC, design of experiments and capability studies; ability to work independently
