- Motivate and provide direction to the Process Technicians ensuring appropriate directions, training, and evaluation.
- Develop and maintain the process standards in which all parts are manufactured.
- Review production and operating records and resolves technical processing issues.
- Follow established action plans for processes out of range.
- Specify project management and buy off of new equipment.
- Manage exploration of new materials and processes in order to achieve the best quality, process, and reliability.
- Motivate and train the mold setters, ensuring appropriate training and evaluation.
- Verify and apply narrow ranges for optimum processes to meet customer expectations.

- Compile data and analyze past and current information in order to assist in the preparation of the budget and reduce operational costs.
- Work with tool shops for all tool repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain documentation closely, following necessary timelines on specific projects.
- Enforce safety rules daily
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Level Degree Area of Study: Plastics / Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering, Technology Degree or similar.
*Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.
Required (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge)
- 2-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Injection Molding with presses ranging from 85-3200 tons.
- At least 2 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
- Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces. ·
- Master-root cause troubleshooting with problem solving. ·
- Experience with valve gate, hot runner systems, and scientific injection molding principals.
- Desire to be hands on and overcome challenges that arise on a daily basis.
