The Process Control Engineer Supervisor analyzes the scope of proposed capital projects to determine engineering criteria and requirements, develop feasibility and project study efforts, analyze the economic justifications of competing options, set criteria and evaluate proposed and final engineering designs and assure that project scopes are installed within budget and schedule constraints.
The Project Lead for Control projects involving mainly instrumentation to direct and coordinate a team or task force effort.
The Process Control Engineer Supervisor provides Control Engineering support to other mid to large size capital projects. You will supervise Engineering support staff including reviewing candidates for vacancies, conduct performance reviews and recommend salary increases and bonus payments.
You will provide expert technical direction and guidance to other engineers, Control Specialists and technical personnel. They provide input to establish department operating budget.
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering PLUS eight (8) to twelve (12) years of related experience in the field of process instrumentation in the petrochemical, chemical or pulp and paper industries.
-Experience with Project Management and Construction Practices.
-Extensive knowledge of process control, advanced control, and optimization theory and application.
-Extensive software process simulation skills
