Job Summary: We are seeking a Primary Care/Family Medicine Physician to join our team and serve the community. The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and be knowledgeable and skilled in family medicine. The physician should be able to provide a full range of care, from preventive care and chronic disease management to acute care and trauma care.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

-Provide primary care to patients in the community

-Perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses, and provide patient education

-Order and interpret laboratory tests and X-rays

-Prescribe medications as needed

-Refer patients to specialists as needed

-Maintain accurate medical records

-Participate in continuing medical education and staff meetings

 

Qualifications:

 

-MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

-Board certified or board eligible in family medicine

-Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Excellent communication skills

-Commitment to patient care

 

Experience and Skills:

 

-Proficiency in primary care procedures

-Experience with electronic health records

-Ability to multitask and prioritize

-Strong problem-solving skills

-Patience and understanding
