PLC Controls Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX area

Description:

This opportunity is with a high-purity specialty chemical manufacturer located near Dallas, TX. This is an on-site role at a 50-person, 24/7 operational plant with up to 1,000 control points. You’ll be focused on managing the site’s PLC control systems. You’ll be responsible for programming, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining process hardware, control loops, and equipment. Moving into the future, the site will focus on fixing old instrumentation that is out of date and improving production capacity. This opportunity can be for a Process Engineer who’s had exposure to controls.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, closely related will be considered
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing, preferably out of chemicals or closely related
• Experience working with PLC process controls and HMI is required
• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, maintenance, instrumentation is preferred
