Must have at least 5+ years of plant safety, health and environmental program management experience along with a degree in a technical science. This position will create and lead all safety activities for a (500) employee food production facility with an emphasis on safety and health (basic environmental compliance will involve wastewater and stormwater). Position reports into the Plant Manager and directly supervises a staff of (2) within the EHS department.
Candidate skill set should include the ability to work autonomously, be creative and build/drive safety systems into the facility. Excellent opportunity to build sustainable safety programs and be part of the plant leadership team.
