Job Title: Trauma Critical Care & Burn Physician

 

Location: Augusta, GA

Job Summary: We are looking for a board certified or board eligible physician to join our team in the vibrant city of Augusta, Georgia. The incoming physician will specialize in Trauma Critical Care & Burn, with the responsibility of working in both the burn unit and regular ICU. The ideal candidate should be confident in treating both adult and pediatric patients and must have experience in one of the following: Internal Medicine Critical Care, Pulmonary Critical Care, Anesthesia Critical Care, or Burn Surgery with Critical Care experience. We will consider candidates graduating in 2022 or 2023.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide timely, evidence-based & patient-centered care

• Develop and implement best practices for the critical care unit

• Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents

• Participate in research initiatives

• Take part in quality improvement initiatives

• Document patient encounters and treatments

 

Qualifications:

• Must be board certified or board eligible

• Must be able to work in both the burn unit and regular ICU

• Must have experience in one of the following areas: Internal Medicine Critical Care, Pulmonary Critical Care, Anesthesia Critical Care, or Burn Surgery with Critical Care experience

• Must be confident in treating both adult and pediatric patients

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 

Experience and Skills:

• Experience in critical care medicine

• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills

• Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks

• Ability to collaborate and work in a team setting

• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions
