Job Title: Pediatric Neurology Physician/Pediatric Neurologist

 

Location: Savannah, GA

 

Salary: We are offering a competitive salary and benefits package for the right candidate.

 

Job Summary: We seek an experienced and passionate pediatric neurology physician/pediatric neurologist to join our team in Savannah, GA. The successful candidate will provide consultations to the pediatric floor, pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The position requires board certification/eligibility in pediatric neurology.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

– Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with neurological disorders

– Manage a wide variety of neurological conditions including epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, and headaches

– Assess and diagnose pediatric patients with neurological disorders

– Document patient history, physical examination findings, assessment, and plan of care

– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans

– Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed

– Educate patients and families about neurological disorders and preventive care

 

Qualifications:

– Board certified/eligible in pediatric neurology

– Demonstrated clinical experience in pediatric neurology

– Expertise in developing and managing complex neurological treatment plans

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care

– Current licensure to practice in the state of GA

 

Experience and Skills:

– Experience in a pediatric setting

– Experience in working in a Level III NICU

– Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

– Ability to multi-task and prioritize

– Knowledge of EMR systems

– Knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines
