Outside Sales Professional
Location: Southeastern Michigan
Our client is a well-respected Managed IT Support provider with offices in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Nashville, Tennessee.
They are looking for a full time Outside Sales Professional to join their high-performance team.
- Call on small and mid-sized companies, representing Company’s Manage IT Support, Cloud Computing, Custom Programming & Database Mining, and Co-Managed IT Support services.
- Manage accounts of new and existing clients in the Healthcare, Accounting, Credit Union and Real Estate Investment Trust industries.
- Will call on area businesses, develop comprehensive IT-related proposals, make sales presentations, close sales, and follow up providing solid customer service.
- Work with clients to build the right infrastructure and systems, utilizing the Company’s Network, Field and Solutions Engineering team members.
- Specific product involvement includes 24/7 IT Monitoring, Automated Backup & Data Recovery, Secure Hosted Exchange, Intuitive Website Design & Strategic Planning, and Proactive Maintenance.
- Represent Company as a virtual CIO and a provider of complete IT care as a partner.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients; visit potential clients for new business.
- Develop strategic support plans for clients.
- Demonstrate and promote a belief in and a commitment to the culture and business philosophy of the Company.
- Must have a proven track record for success.
- Requires at least 2 years’ experience in an outside sales position.
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience selling technology in a business-to-business environment.
- Specific experience selling Managed IT Support related services will be a big plus.
- Must live in Southeastern Michigan or the greater Nashville area.
- Compensation for this job is well into 6 figures ($200K to $300K), including an attractive base salary (in the high 5 figures).
