Job Title: Orthopedic Surgeon

 

Location: Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania

 

Salary: This position is an employed position with a generous compensation package. A commencement bonus of up to $100,000 is offered, along with a residency stipend, relocation allowance, medical education debt reimbursement, CME allowances and bonuses. An excellent benefits package is also included.

 

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team and provide superior care to our patients. You will have access to two DaVinci Robots and have a large primary care referral base. You will also have the potential to join a 1:6 call for emergency department cases.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

• Diagnose, treat and manage orthopedic injuries

• Perform surgery as necessary

• Develop treatment plans for orthopedic diagnoses

• Educate patients on medical conditions and treatments

• Monitor patient progress

• Ensure patient safety

 

Qualifications:

 

• Must possess a valid medical license

• Board certified in Orthopedic Surgery (ORS)

• Possess strong interpersonal skills

• Excellent communication and listening skills

• Proven patient care experience

• Ability to build trust and rapport with patients

 

Experience and Skills:

 

• Proficiency in using medical equipment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong decision making skills

• Ability to work under pressure

• Flexible and adaptable to changing demands

• Knowledge of quality assurance standards
