The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for managing, planning, directing, and coordinating the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing, maintenance, quality, sanitation, processing, and packaging.

Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, direct, and run optimize day-to-day operations to exceed yields, delivery, and efficiencies
Increase production efficiency, asset capacity and flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining high quality standards
Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time delivery
Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions
Collect and analyze data to improve operations and eliminate waste
Develop and support a strong Safety culture
Maintain and support systems and processes that track and optimize performance metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
Address employees’ issues by coaching, training, and guiding the supervisors
Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts
Drive a continuous improvement culture
Requirements:
BA/BS degree required; preferred in Engineering, Industrial Technology or Business
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Operations and/or Lean Management.
Food manufacturing industry experience is preferred (not required).
Experience being a change agent with experience in implementation of Lean principals as they apply to manufacturing operations.
Ability to apply structured problem-solving methodologies to determine root cause of problems and provide effective countermeasures.
