Operations Director – USA
USA | The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall planning of all operations, ensuring the proper transmission of information by project. He/she is responsible for the coordination of internal tasks and the delivery of initiated projects from the office to which he/she is assigned, in addition to ensuring client satisfaction. This person must participate in the development and implementation of Company’s strategic plan. He/she will also participate in the development and support of new tools required by the department. In addition, the Operations Director will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing key KPIs and other indicators relevant to the achievement of his/her objectives and those of his/her team. He/she will be responsible for the management of his/her employees, including their performance, satisfaction, and development. The person in this position will also actively participate in management team meetings and make recommendations in order to increase the performance, efficiency and profitability of the company and its projects. He/she is responsible for responding to ad hoc requests from his/her management. The Operations Director is responsible for inspiring the vision, mission and values of the company in his/her daily actions.
+ Create links with governmental economic development institutions for the prospecting of new opportunities abroad
+ Participate, in coordination with the office operations directors and account managers, in the development of an annual activity plan with our clients for the prospecting of new business opportunities
+ Participate in trade shows
+ Promote our services to businesses and governments with the help of existing marketing support
+ Develop a business development strategy by territory, according to the company’s global strategy
+ Travel occasionally to meet with potential clients to maintain and build relationships with existing, new and potential accounts
+ Analyze and define customer needs and provide relevant and personalized recommendations with the help of NDT engineers
+ Manage and supervise project schedules, including optimization of billable resources, according to project requirements
+ Management and supervision of project assignments
+ Support project managers by ensuring profitability, quality and adherence to project schedules during project planning
+ Follow and monitor, on a weekly basis, the financial information related to the profitability of projects, via the Power BI dashboard and perform a detailed evaluation, monthly, at the closing of projects
+ Coordinate team meetings, ensure the necessary support and monitor actions to be taken
+ Training in project management, administration, engineering or equivalent
+ Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a management or executive position
+ Advanced knowledge of non-destructive testing technologies
+ Experience working in a small to medium sized company is an asset
