Location: Jacksonville, FL

Job Summary: We are looking for an Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OBGYN) to provide quality patient care in a compassionate and professional manner. The successful candidate will have an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Florida, and have the ability to work collaboratively with the 24 hour OB hospitalist group, provide ER call coverage, and have the ability to perform minimally-invasive robotic surgery with the hospital’s two daVinci Xi platforms.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat female reproductive system disorders

• Provide prenatal care and delivery services

• Perform medical procedures, such as diagnostic tests and surgeries

• Prescribe medication and recommend lifestyle changes

• Counsel patients and their families on health, lifestyle, and reproductive issues

• Provide ER call coverage and collaborate with 24 hour OB hospitalist group

• Perform minimally-invasive robotic surgery with the hospital’s two daVinci Xi platforms

 

Qualifications:

• Board certified or board eligible by the ABOG

• Unrestricted license to practice in Florida, with no history of license being revoked, restricted, or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction

• Current, unrestricted DEA registration

 

Experience and Skills:

• Ability to diagnose and treat female reproductive system disorders

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of prenatal care and delivery services

• Ability to perform medical procedures and prescribe medications

• Ability to counsel patients and their families on health, lifestyle, and reproductive issues

• Ability to provide ER call coverage and collaborate with 24 hour OB hospitalist group

• Ability to perform minimally-invasive robotic surgery with the hospital’s two daVinci Xi platforms
