Nurse Practitioner

We are a well established Internal Medicine practice that is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our practice. We are a welcoming practice that has staff available to provide ancillary services to our Provider, patients and their families.

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals. The ideal Nurse Practitioner candidate will have a background in Internal Medicine and be capable of providing comprehensive care to patients. This includes performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and educating patients on preventive care. The successful Nurse Practitioner candidate will be able to work independently while still collaborating with other members of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Nurse Practitioner will perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and treatments.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Provide primary care services to patients, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
• Order laboratory tests and interpret results.
• Nurse Practitioner will provide patient counseling and education.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Document patient care in medical records.
