Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and highly-skilled Neurosurgeon to join our team in Lufkin, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients and their families, as well as for ensuring that the highest standards of excellence are maintained in all facets of neurological surgery.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

– Diagnose and treat neurological conditions and diseases

– Perform complex surgery and procedures on the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves

– Monitor the progress of patients and provide follow-up care

– Create and manage treatment plans and provide patient education

– Consult with other medical professionals as needed

– Assess patient needs and provide appropriate medical care

– Remain up-to-date with the latest developments in the field

 

Qualifications:

 

– MD/DO degree in Neurology or a related field

– Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology

– Valid state medical license

– A minimum of 2 years’ experience in neurological surgery

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

– Ability to remain current with the latest medical technologies and treatments

 

Experience and Skills:

 

– Comprehensive understanding of neurological surgery

– Expertise in surgical procedures and techniques

– High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

– Ability to recognize and respond to emergent situations

– Knowledge of medical laws, regulations, and best practices

– Proficiency in the use of medical equipment and technology

– Ability to use electronic medical records systems
