Job Title: Neurologist

 

Location: Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania

 

Salary: This position offers competitive salary and benefits package. This includes medical education loan reimbursement, residency stipend payments, bonuses, and relocation allowance.

 

Job Summary: A Neurologist is needed to join a busy established practice in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania with a large patient base from day one. The successful candidate will provide both inpatient and outpatient services and have experience with EMG/EEG. This position does not include any stroke call.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

– Diagnose and treat neurological conditions

– Provide patient education

– Participate in quality improvement initiatives

– Develop and implement treatment plans

– Monitor patient progress

– Document patient care

 

Qualifications:

 

– MD or DO degree

– Licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania

– Board certification in Neurology

– Excellent clinical judgement and critical thinking skills

– Ability to communicate effectively

– Knowledge of current medical standards and treatment protocols

 

Experience and Skills:

 

– Previous experience as a Neurologist

– EMG/EEG experience

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Experience in a clinic or hospital setting

– Proficient in using electronic medical records
